What we collect

Nothing you type is stored except the search words, which are sent to the Charities Register to find matches. There are no accounts, no uploads and no payments.

To keep the service within its daily limits, we count how many new checks are made from each internet address each day. Those counts are deleted after two days.

Charity information

Checks use organisation-level figures from the public Charities Register. We count a charity's current and recent officers but do not collect or show their names. Finished checks are kept for up to 30 days so the next person to look up the same charity gets the same result straight away.

Service providers

The site runs on Cloudflare. Written summaries are produced by an AI model run on Cloudflare Workers AI, which is given only the calculated figures for the charity.
