Dates

What it funds

  • Local community projects and events
  • Quick response small grants
  • Facilities grants (some boards)

What it will not fund

  • Wages, salaries, utilities and rent are a lower priority (Whau)
  • Groups receiving two Whau grants in the same year

Good to know

Every board sets its own dates, amounts and priorities, so read your board's grants programme first. Wages and rent are a lower priority on at least some boards.

Each of the 21 local boards runs its own Local Grant and Quick Response rounds, usually two or three a year, listed on one grants calendar.
