Closing in the next 60 days (50)

Soonest first. est. means the date is worked out from a rule the funder states, such as “the 25th of each month”, or is not yet confirmed against the funder's page.

More funders, not yet checked

Funders we know of but haven't checked yet: grant-making charities from the Charities Register, plus a few council and trust funds. There are no dates here, and many choose who they fund, so always read their own page first.

Show 6 or more listed funders

Grant-making charities come from the Charities Register (Charities Services, Department of Internal Affairs), used under CC BY 3.0 NZ, refreshed weekly: registered charities whose latest return says they make grants to organisations. We show only organisation details, never officers.

Start with your group’s name.

Type your group’s name and pick it from the list. We read your purposes, area and legal form from the public Charities Register, then sort every funder into fits, check first and ruled out, with the reason for each.

Not a registered charity? Answer a few questions instead. Your answers stay on this device.

Where our dates come from

Each funder page lists the pages we read, with the exact words we relied on and the day we read them. Where a funder gives a rule instead of a date, we work the date out and mark it est. Where they do not say, we say so.

More on the method

Applications close on 25th of each month for consideration at our Committee Meeting the month after.
