Good to know

Not open to new applicants for now: the next round of the Multi-Year Community Partnership Grant is not until 2027, with no date. Capital projects and debt repayment are not funded. Arts projects go through the separate Creative Communities Scheme.

The only fund with a stated round is the Multi-Year Community Partnership Grant, which runs every three years. It last closed on 1 August 2024 and the next round is 'not until 2027' with no dates published, so it is not open to new applicants for now.

• Grant agreement with council

Common things funders ask for, worth having ready:

• What exactly is the money for, and when will you spend it?
• How much do you need, and do you have quotes under three months old?
• Who benefits, and how many people?
• Your legal name, registration number and bank account in the group's name.
• A committee or board decision approving the application (some funders want a signed resolution).
• Your latest financial statements or annual return.
• Other funders you have applied to for the same thing.
